NewNiceMrMe
Been having a catch up with my friends in the USA over on Bimmerfest. The first thing I discovered was that a guy who'd been waiting to take delivery of a new 650Ci has now done so. As soon as he received it he promptly set about ruining in. So, a week later, here it is.... Why? Just why!!!???
Dave
It's not so much the alloys that ruin the car, but that rear overhang.. can you remove it?

Dave
It looks like something stuck on by the 'max power' bridgade same as on the 5 series.
N3WOB
I saw what appeared to be some really blinged up M6s outside the dealership in Northampton a few weeks ago..black alloys, privacy glass...they looked brand new..are BMW offering a bling pack? NewNiceMrMe
BMW don't offer a bling pack, but they're popular for modifying in the USA. The ones you've seen sound like 650Ci Sport models with individual wheel colouring. The Sport has the chrome blacked out and they'll do privacy glass for you too. RedRobin
I hate the alloys but I don't mind the rest of it as far as I can see.

TriGGa
Those headlights aren't stock are they? They look foul. I think the ones in the UK are different and look so much better. edit: also, is there an alpina version of the 6? Was in a cinema in enfield yday looking for parking and saw a convertible one with alpina wheels. Lookd fantastic, but there was no bodykit which stood out. So assumed it was just after market rims? NewNiceMrMe
The headlights in the USA are only different because they have orange indicator covers, not clear as in Europe. AC Schnizter have a 6 variant, as do Hamann. I've not seen an Alpina one but I'm sure there will be one somewhere.
theduisbergkid
The Yanks think Chrome and big wheels are classy. Also, they gave the world the PT Cruiser and the Hummer for example, clearly demonstrating that they have zero idea regarding taste and style.
