Multitronic gearbox Reliability

Hi Any feedback on Mutitronic gearbox reliability on 2003 A4 I've got a horrendous vibration at 4000 revs dealer changed the exhaust thinking it was the front flexi seized to no avail, they are now stumped and are starting to change bits 1 at a time to try and cure it but they are guessing(maybe by the time they are finished I'll have a nearly new car as it's all under warranty!)Cheers Andy.
