I have taken the plunge after reading Bubs post about his remap and the fact my warranty ended last month. jump.gif

My 190bhp Avant is booked in for 9am on Saturday morning and it can't come quick enough. Hopefully I will see some good gains over standard.

I wouldn't worry about longevity at all. But would advise an oil and filter change, then once a year thereafter.

Jim's a top bloke, you won't be disappointed 169144-ok.gif

Due to my Oettinger alloy intake Jim was able to add a bit more boost on my car, hence the 237bhp figure. You should see 220 no problem! laugh.gif

Are you going for a DualSystem box too?

Enjoy!

The reason I have waited until my warranty ran out was because I didn't want any issues with them voiding it because of the remap. I recently had it serviced also and I have moved it to fixed intervals (yearly).

I am just going for the standard map as I can't see myself changing it back once I am used to it. After speaking to Jim again yesterday, he is also going to fit a Hyperboost HX valve. I will probably get a K+N as well.

I think Jims sells the OCT Tuning cast pipe. My one is the welded Oettinger one. No issues at all. Oettinger claim 5-6hp and Jim thought that might be the case.

I fitted it before my re-map and it seemed to improve midrange at the time. (or it might've been my empty pockets telling me that UHOH7.GIF)
