Insurance Renewal Premium

I may decide to stick the insurance in the wifes name...keep her NCD from falling away as she currently doesn't insure a car in her own name but has full NCD from a couple of years ago. - also I have a company car which is my main transport but a job change later this year may possibly mean I will need my policy to insure another car for work use.

Insurance is never straight forward is it? ROLLEY~14.GIF

Just renewed mine @ £459 with Privilege, quite a bit cheaper than the old 330Ci.

Renewal quote came through at £525 so I went on the Privilege website and it quoted £475. I rang them up and told them I wanted to cancel as I'd had a cheaper quote through Direct Line (a little white lie). The nice lady said "Hmmm, let's see what we can do for you sir..."

Result. beerchug.gif

just got a quote for the GTi from bell direct, with protected no claims, of £309, against a renewal from privelege(sp) of £360. I suppose there are benefits to getting older - I'm 39 in Nov, and the wife is 42. Got her V70 T5 down to £248 with 'more than' this year. Renewal from 'more than' came in at £320, I phoned them up and said we wont renew, went on line and got £248 including break down cover and home start, which the renewal didnt include. Absolutely crazy......
