hixster
Been doing a bit of motorway night driving recently and after over taking people keep flashing me, it's happening about 3 or 4 times on an average 20 mile trip. Do my lights need checking or is it just that those xenons are sooo damn bright?

[/ QUOTE ] The xenons as adjusted from the factory will be too high on the passenger side and therefore when you overtake someone you will blind them. I had exactly the same problem as did a friend with a GTI with Xenons. There are adjustment knobs (white in colour 2 on each headlight and the direction of adjustment is labelled U or D) Just park the car on a level surface at night in front of say garage doors or a wall and adjust them downwards. Problem solved.
vindaloo
Cars seem to leave the factory set for left hand drive (passenger side higher) & if your dealer doesn't adjust this on the PDI you will have a problem

swil00
Get exactly the same problem... My LH light is set a bit high so it just catches the car in front rear view mirror.. Had some woman going nuts in a Citroen last night... She even tried getting me back by putting full beam....
RB32
I havent been flashed much but that might change as nights draw in and more time spent in car in the dark but i do notice lots of people dipping their rv mirrors when i am behind them
