collease
I have just taken 3 cars to the local skoda stealers one after the other and have just realised i have a very odd habbit which i seem to always do. When i thought about it i realised i do it when ever i get in a car no matter what it is. My odd habbit is to scan through the radio stations not to find the one i want i just do it and settle for the same station every time even if it was already set to it. Then when on the move i found that my left hand is actually resting on the passanger seat which is a bit worrying cos i try and do it even if there is someone sitting in it. Its such a habbit now i just cant stop myself. Does anyone else have such an odd habbit or ritual when thaey get in their or any car
Calm Chris
I always adjust my tackle. Not that it needs adjusting, but it's something I always do. It's a lot easier to do standing up than when sat down in the car

Torino101
I also have the (bad) habit of almost permanetly having my left hand on the gear lever (thereby nearly always steering one handed), but never in the passenger seat!

Problem_Child
I always turn the key one stop short of starting the car whenever I get in, even if I'm just getting something out of the glovebox. I think it stems from my first car- my housemate used to try to steal the keys...

cruiser647
I usually look at people in other cars as I overtake and think how uncomfortable the way they hold the steering wheel!

It's a lot easier to do standing up than when sat down in the car [/ QUOTE ] Haha, this reminds me. he very first time I took Mrs M8KCN out I picked her up from her dads house, we both climbed in my car and I somehow seemed to squash/trap my nuts as I sat down. Not wanting to make a bad impression, I drove like this for half an hour until we arrived where we were going. Needless to say, I now adjust before I get in the car
