David Wilson
Well, for better or worse, just done a deal on the new S3 with my local dealer. Obviously order wont go into the system till 2nd October, but it will be their first order, so with a bit of luck should see the new car in January. Really sorry to see the old S3 go as it hasn't so much as coughed the wrong way in 4 years, but as they say, all good things must come to an end at some time. Fazzzman
If the new S3 is as much of an improvement over the old S3 as our Sportback is over our old 1.8T you'll be laughing. I thought the 1.8T was spot-on until I got the Sportback.
aliAUDI
1.8t engine was, and still is supurb. the internals can handle over 300 bhp without being stressed. the 2.0t engine is stunning. That makes for good progress, but if you can imagine that the s3 will be about 2 seconds faster to 60, then it really will be a great car. The handling has been tweaked-and to this day, i've never heard of anyone owning an old s3, and moaning about the performance!

[/ QUOTE ] Are you having a laugh? The old S3 needed a re-map, new brakes, new supension, and the stereo was pants! especially the Bose!! Get those things sorted and it sure is nice
