[/ QUOTE ] I cant wait you are correct, I went for the SAT/NAV plus instead as I am not sure I could live with the seats every day. When the dealers demo comes in I will see at that point and maybe update the order. AZ
david_d
Just why exactly did you have to pay 10%? On a car that Audi UK hasn't even released any official info about almost.?

david_d
I was always under the impression that the deposit of 1500 is refundable but the 10% isn't. But usually they take the 10% MUCH LATER like once the car has gone into build, I've never heard them do it before the car has even been announced/shown. S3Rob
Blix, We get it. You don't like the new S3. Now we've established that can you stop putting sarcy one liners in every S3 thread. There are a few people who are excited about getting a new S3 in December (me included) and a whole lot more who are interested and waiting for reviews/more info. Why don't you start an S3 haters thread and post in that instead.
Wallachie
S3Rob - couldn't agree more mate...... He's probably just jealous of you guys with orders in for the new S3.
gizze
It may not be everything that everyone was hoping for, but it will still wipe the floor of original Blix!!
martin275
The only thing really wrong with it is the price, £32k for a 2.0 litre hatchback is making my eyes water! I'm sure it will be an improvement on the 'original' though and I hope that Azure / S3Rob et al are really happy with their cars. I don't think anyone should knock people who are excited about getting a new car. It doesn't matter what car it is (within reason!), the whole process from the moment you decide to start looking until you collect it is really exciting!! If it isn't then you should probably be on another forum.
david_d
If you spec sensibly you can easily keep it below 30k. Buckets seats and sat nav seems to be the two biggest extras.
gizze
Sat Nav is the one option I would not leave off the spec. Annoying that Audi charge so much for it, but you must have it on a £30k car now. Interior light package Heated seats Phone Nav Armrest Would be my options. [/ QUOTE ] I'm not so sure now.. used to be that way for sure, but with the cost of TomTom's nowdays and having the abiltiy to go car to car with them is changing things.. I think manufacturers units are massivly over-priced and they need to realise that people aren't going to pay 500% over the odds for them!
david_d
Not forgetting metallic paint is £550 too. I find it incredible that aftermarket sat navs haven't driven the price down of sat nav options. £2650 is just absurd. Can it really be worth that much? Dave
i had the sat nav/tv in the 6, and it's excellent.. but i really don't know quite how they justify that price nowdays.

You certainly dont get the value of the installed SatNav system back when you trade the car in, but with portable systems, you just transfer it to the next car.
