[Audi A3/S3] Warranty on import car.

Hi,

I live in Norway and own a 2003 S3 wich is imported from Germany.

Do i have any warranty on this car? Do i get longer warranty if i bought the car new in Norway? I read in some posts you guys have written, and you say you still are in warranty. That was a 2002 S3. (Sorry bad english)

Imports to the Uk/Europe came with 2 years warranty.

here in the Uk you can extend the warranty if you wish, at extra cost through Audi.

howerver it is an expensive luxury at £876 GBP for 12 months.

So unless you have extended your warranty, even if it got 3 years, i would expect it to be out of warranty, or running out shortly.

Audi cars registered in the UK through an Audi centre are covered for three years.

Were are talking imports.

My cars have been personal german imports, full uk Spec, registered in the uk as new, and registered with Audi.

Only Uk dealership supplied cars got 3 years warranty.

My TT was only 1 year. I don't recall when it changed to two years but I think it was sometime between 2001 and 2003.

yes i remember that, kimAB's is a 2003, so i assumed 2 years.

my 2002 and 2003 S3 both had 2 years, and ive now extended my warranty twice.
