Cupramax Posted September 11, 2006 Report Share Posted September 11, 2006 Been asked a zillion times but yes, do it with one of the reputable companies i.e. Revo/APR/AmD/ etc etc. Base your decision on the convenience of the supplier to you incase of any issues. Yes it affects warranty and insurance, warranty only directly affected parts though. The 1.8T is pretty unburstable though, so just do it. barney0001 Posted September 11, 2006 Report Share Posted September 11, 2006 DO IT!! as you in the north west, awesome do APR stage 1 for 440 inc vat. i was told no-one can tell its been done by looking at the ECU as its encrypted?? either way its worth it, best performance upgrade for the money.
