The ultimate piece of cleaning kit!

I've got some black marks in the vinyl sunbed upholstery on the back of my boat where the black tonneau cover wraps across it and down to the transom, and the black works itself out of the cover and into the vinyl.

I've tried all sorts to get it out, upholstery cleaner, soap and water, everything, nothing even touches it.

Then someone suggested I use a "Magic Eraser" sponge. No chemicals, no sprays, just the sponge and fresh water.

Fecking unbelievable, it took all the marks straight out! Really totally amazing!

I then went around the rest of the boat upholstery and whilst it looked clean before, it came up like new. There was one area where I'd got a dab of grease on a seat and that came straight out. Also a small mark on the cabin upholstery that I've never been able to shift (no idea what it is), straight out.

You just wring it out regularly in a bucket of clean fresh water. It's remarkable how the water gradually turns black with the dirt but the thing keeps on going.

Definitely recommend these, get them from Woolworths, they're about £4 for a large sponge block that you cut with scissors and use.

It does start to break up after a while, but not till it's done a goodly amount of cleaning, and at that price it's no big prob to just chuck away and cut off another bit.

Going to try some on the car interior later.

Awesome stuff. 169144-ok.gif

It's amazing stuff, isn't it? We just sold a flat we owned and we'd had it redecorated to sell. All sorts of paint marks and scrapes etc after the removals people moved all of our stuff out. So we went over all the marks on the wooden floors and the wallpaper. It got rid of everything! So quick to use as well. Well worth having a block in the garage (or the boatshed). 169144-ok.gif

My wife had used it before and I seen the late night JML adverts for it and totally dismissed it. How wrong I was. blush.gif

will this get wax off rubber and plastic?

Probably. I'd certainly test it somewhere less visible first but as long as it's damp and you don't overdo it, it's pretty gentle on anything I've tried it on.

Gotta be worth a try. Even if you don't use it on the car you'll find dozens of other uses for it.
