With possible impending increase in weekly mileage it looks like the S4 Cab might have to go. Really poor trade in prices given by dealer:

54 S4 Cabriolet Silver/Black leather

4,200 Miles

£27000

Anyway the point about is post is to get a general view on what the A4 2.0 TDI 170 Quattro is like as car (i.e. Any faults, any must haves).

Thinking about an S Line in grey with black leather?

If I am lucky I might be able to keep my current job which will mean no increase in mileage.

Which means happy days are here again and my local petrol station will not have to shut........

Depending on where I end up working will determine whether I keep the car or not. Got to say it has been the best car I have ever owned in terms of sheer performance and functionality FIREdevil.gif. Get the feeling that a 2.0 TDI might be a bit of a let down, but the MPG being more than double of the S4 will be the deciding factor.

i had a s-line with the new 170 tdi last night, it was fast enough, was at 100mph before you knew it.

big improvement over the 140.

in 2nd it pushes you back with the accelleration. The one i had didnt feel to stable and was bit jumpy. Think it may be better behaved with Quattro model. It also pulled to right under braking(informed dealer of course).

i have the 220Bhp on order so looking forward to that.
