Hi all, in my search to gain more knowledge on buying an Audi i came across this site and now all i want to do is get modding! smile.gif

My Audi 2.0T Quat, s line, spec ed comes next week and i am seriously thinking that a remap is a must.

Warrranty issues?

Can a remap be visable to the dealer on sevice etc? I was thinking Revo so i can switch it back to standard if necessary, is it really undetectable?

Should i get 1000m on the clock before i remap?

So much to ask...With a remap is it worth considering any other changes to the exhaust, brakes etc to assist with the extra horses?

Hope you can assist, thanks! notworthy.gif

Run it in for a couple of thousand miles, learn the car and it's characteristics and then get it remapped.

My S3 has been remapped since new, it got remapped via the dealer before it was delivered, and it hasn't missed a beat in 58k (apart from a few turbo hoses splitting!).

Good luck, sounds like a lovely car you're getting! 169144-ok.gif

I ran my 2.0T in for 2000 miles, then went for a revo and a milltek. Has now done still only 4500 miles, but it is awesome. You simply will not believe the difference. Cannot recommend it enough. I got the switch from revo so that i can turn off the remap when it goes in for servicing
