DHA
The clunk when pushing in the clutch, is it when you engage drive? Could be driveline shunt which is common in higher powered cars.
dogbucket
The springs/dampers are not adjustable. But although the standard setup is quite firm (it is a sporty model afterall), it is not as bad as other cars out there and you will get used to it. Could be worth checking the tyres are not massively over inflated?

rs32
if it's only in the lower gears then I'd say it's a characterstic of these cars. My MkIV 4motion had it in 1st/2nd and the MkV .:R is the same - but has got better with age/mileage.... if all gears then possibly engine mounts from what I've picked up on Tyresmoke. might be worth visiting an independant specialist if the dealer route is not giving the right result - your choice of course.
