Hopsta
I booked a trip up to jockland before all of the new inflight restrictions kicked in. As i'm only going for the weekend i was planning on taking my sports bag as normal or just a small suitcase which we normally use and carry it onboard. With the new restrictions i'm not going to be able to do this and will need to check in a bag, but Ryanair's policy is usually that they charge you if you've not pre-booked a baggage, but the check-in has been forced on me. So has anyone had the same scenario and did they get charged? I know it's only a few quid (the scottish must be rubbing off on me ) G
DHA
I think that they have been imposing charges despite it not being the passengers fault.
Hopsta
Cheeky feckers! Odd that this is not in any of their any government press releases. Will see if I can change my tickets via their unhelpful telephone support line which is premium rate

bells0
Just back from a wedding in Ireland - Mrs B wanted to take her whole wardrobe even though we were there for 2 nights! Case was 25kgs, no charge going out from Leeds, coming back.......40 euros please or your going nowhere!! Agreed, he sent the bag down the chute, he then tried to make out because we booked back in early March that the limit then was even less??? - so asked for another 40! - he was not politely told where to jump Note to self, take 2 bags and pack light next time! Hopsta
That's bull, the limits on Ryan air haven't changed for atleast 12 months. As from Nov 1st 2006, their check in limit is 15kg, robbing My trip was pretty good, no hassles at checking and managed to get an extra suitcase (not pre-booked) on for nothing. Spanish aren't all that bad afterall Even if Valladolid airport is a little small!
