Maxyboy
bought a twin pack of these as they say they are super absorbant and lint free... it turns out they smear water everywhere and leave lint aplenty..... what is going on with em...?? seems a waste of money so far
steelwind101
Hi Absorbant probably in terms of QD'ing etc. Certantly not for drying the car. Your best bet is use the Meguiars satisfaction guarantee and take them back to the shop. Terrys are old school and have been replaced my MF cloths so you have purchased something that is really old stock. If you want something that will dry get a "Water Magnet" if you want to buff waxes then get Supreme Shine MicroFibres. Terry towels can cause swirls marks thats why they have been replaced. Geoff PS. If your having issues taking them back come over to the Meguiars UK forum @ meguiars.co.uk and Juli should be able to help you out.

Paul
I only use mine to buff the wax off. Much faster than microfibre towels..
steelwind101
The lint should go away after the first wash. They are probably quicker then the MF cloth as they have less nap. This means less space between you and any grit. There great for alloys or if you are not so anal about swirls etc!! If you want to test how much damage a cloth does your car take a blank CD-R and recreate the sitiutaion on the data side i.e. apply wax, put in your soapie water if you want to simulate washing. Then use your cloth or mitt on it and then dry as in your standard way, put it under a light see if your scratch free!! Probably only if your anal about it all though LOL.
