A4_Family_Man
The drivers seat has suddenly starting squeaking, when going over bumps and the like. It's one of those minor cabin noises that gets very irritating. It sounds like a bed with a broken spring. Is there an easy solution to this? v8griff
A work colleague of mine had the same problem with his front passenger seat. As it is a company car it went straight to the local stealer who fitted a new "part". Sorry can't be more specific, but a trip to the stealers may be on the cards. Will22
I had the same problem with my S4(no jokes about my size please) Dealer fitted a new seat base, they also fitted a new motor at the same time as the seat wouldn't go up(again no jokes)
timps
It is for a TT but IIRC someone used it to cure an A4. linky it might work.

GCab
I think there wa an issue with the centre console (the bit under your left elbow) squeaking too (this was in cabriolets). Worth checking it's not actually from there and not seat, perhaps
