shark_90
Guys Can any of you with an up to dat Parkers guide tell me the value of a Citroen C2 Furio, 2003/53 36,000 miles. Looks like they might write the girlfriend's car off so I'm trying to estimate what they're going to offer her.. Cheers
Sparky
Have you driven it?

rothwell
Why do you want Parkers valuation for? Do you have any idea how far off the mark they usually are? With a C2 I wouldn't even bother looking in Glass's guide, I'd look in CAP because a C2 will be way behind book in Glass's. Whatever they offer you for the car you will be shocked. Sparky
Give Booster a nudge, he can usually give you a figure.
NewNiceMrMe
There are two Furio's. The 1.1i and the 1.4HDi. Which is it?
NewNiceMrMe
Make that 3 - there is also a 1.4i Petrol, and is it 3 or 5 door?
rothwell
A C2 1.4 (Petrol) Furio 03/53 @ 36k books at £4,050 in GG. I wouldn't be suprised if you'd get about £3k-ish for that as a trade in. Next time don't let her buy a shitroen, stick with the good marques, like your lovely Audi! rothwell
[ QUOTE ] Make that 3 - there is also a 1.4i Petrol, and is it 3 or 5 door? [/ QUOTE ] I'm no Citroen expert, but I can only find one Furio on the 1.4 Petrol model and it looks like the C2 only comes in 3-Door. NewNiceMrMe
Ok, well it can't be the 1.1i cos that only came in 05 by the looks of it. If its the 1.4 HDi I reckon they'll offer you £2,850 initally and go to £3,100 tops. For some reason the petrol does better, so if it's the 1.4i Furio (3dr) then I reckon they'll offer £2950 initially and then go to £3,200 tops. NewNiceMrMe
If I told you I'd have to shoot you. MI6 contact, see. You can see one HERE though. Introduced on 03 plates apparently.
shark_90
It's a 1.4i Petrol, sorry I didn't realise they did a diesel Furio. Cheers

We've got a Furio as a station car. Tiny (and tinny) but fun!

rothwell
Just out of interest do many people from the motor trade frequent this site? I do and if I can help anyone with anything just let me know. I'm in sales for a Skoda dealership. *ponders making new thread to build up a database of motor trade using this site, perhaps it could be useful*

rothwell
That will give you the book value of your car. Not many cars will get book, anything in the VAG group tends too though. But my experience with French cars is they tend to be way behind. Probably due to Citroen/Renault/Whoever giving you £2,000 off a £10k car, that £2k is going to have to be passed onto the used car market. MACH1
Try for a valuation on Glasses guide yourself, go to Vauxhall web site under owners, 3 free valuations to anybody. Top Tip.

I've yet to a see a value shown there that was mirrored by the monthly Glass's guide...
