BenjyGTI
Hi all, my GTi is currently for sale, thought I'd advertise it here before it goes in Auto Trader in case anyone is interested? It has only covered 3,500 miles from new this time last year, the spec is listed below in my signature, I have plenty of pics if anyone is interested? The car is immaculate, and I am asking for £19,500 which is pretty reasonable considering the spec and mileage, messgae me if interested PS:- The pioneer sat nav will not be included in that price, as I would rather keep it for my next car, so the standard stereo (RCD300) will be re-installed. Unless that is, a potential buyer is willing to pay extra to leave the sat nav in place.

Not on GTi's, I don't know of anyone getting that kind of discount from VW as they're still in high demand. My price guideline was taken from Parkers website too, it may seem high? I don't really know, but I know my local VW was asking £27k for a similar spec'd 06 model, now thats silly money in my eyes. I can negotiate on price anyway, £19,500 isn't a fixed figure, just trying to get as much as I can like anyone else would

Only asking as it was a useful link as I'm thinking of buying the new TT next

Drive The Deal get dealers to contact you to do the deal

[/ QUOTE ] when was the last time you got a discount negotiating? VW dealers have a fair amount of flexibility. Some will give cars a little over cost to hit their volume or sales revenue targets for that financial period Here's another for the record ukcarbroker These prices can be used to negotiate with a stealer

ian_m
I dont really think Danksy said it in a spiteful way! He has already shown that it is possible to get a brand new one at the same sort of price

You can't get a brand new GTi the same spec as mine for £19,500 from anywhere either, and VW aren't known for haggling over price on GTi's as there are plenty of other customers who are most likely prepared to pay the full asking price, not everyone has access to the internet for cheap price comparisons or even have the nerve / confidence to haggle a price with a salesman. Oh like your sig picture Audi Smitten Ugliest car on the road in my opinion, cannot stand them
