garcon magnifique
Anyone know when the M Sport versions of the new 3 series coupe will be launched? Or should I wait for the Alpina version...?
gizze
January for the M-Sport, and the 2.0d is meant to be getting a hike to 177bhp I apparently. It really needs the sport, the SE looks a little lame I think, and the gap between the wheels and the tyres is huge!!!!!!
garcon magnifique
Definitely agree. And you just know that once the M Sport is out, the SE will suddenly look alot less desirable. I'm pondering. Still. Could go for an Alpina D3 saloon. Then again, they might do that in the coupe. And there will be a B3 based on the 335i soon, though that'll probably be out of my pocket. 335i M Sport coupe might be interesting... similar economy to the Legacy but an awful lot quicker! gizze
I see that a couple of tuners are about to release their remaps for the 335i, figures of 375bhp, so looking promising!
richy_uk
I test drove a 335i coupé on Friday and took a shine to it. Bubmbled along quite happily but floor it in any gear and it just goes - sooo responsive and the handling / ride compromise was great too. I asked about the M sport versions and the stealer wouldn't give me an answer. The shocking thing was they said I could have one in 8 weeks as a factory order. Left it with them to get a decent trade in for my Porsche. We'll see how it goes, but it really is a great car. Loved the interior too. GavR
Ive been asking all the time at work when the sport coupe is coming out but as yet I have had no certain answer. But I guess it will be with us before the spring next year. I drove the 335ci last weekend and was very impressed with the engine, even with an auto box I thought it was great, I was amazed how much pull it had, it was very much M3 esk but without all the heroics, fantastic car, all I kept thinking was god knows what the next M3 will be like,It will have to be some car!!! Cant wait to get the keys to that!!
