07903233131
Hi, I have a misfire on my E36 1995 320i coupe. There is no coil output on the first cylinder and the coil from that cylinder is is melted round the side is what caused the car to misfire. The others are fine I took it to a specialist who told me my ECU had been burnt and cannot repair it and are charging £500 for a new one. I have an option of getting it repaired for £200 but from a not well known company. Do you think it is worth buying a new one or get it repaired? Also does anyone know if you need to replace all the coils? Help will be greatly appriciated. Thanks

07903233131
Hi, Sorry for the late reply, I have put a post through there but have had no reply. I managed to get it all sorted. I got the ECU repaired, had 6 new coils put in, labour and VAT to a total cost of £597. Abit expensive but better than the other options I had! Thanks again
