allanon_1980
Cant decide which ? Any ideas ? While mpg isnt a huge concern, it is a factor. Im sick to death of filling my mk5 gti so God only knows what the 335i will be like. On the other hand, will there be such a bif difference with the 335d. Read some posts here where they say that they are only getting marginally worse mpg from a 335i in comparison to previous 330d's etc. Any thoughts would be welcome guys. smokin
the diesel for sure. I am getting low 30's and i drive extremely quickly. u will be lucky to get 20 on the petrol. My cousin as same car as mine but the petrol and not only is the power far more usable in the diesel but the fuel consumption is significantly increased. allanon_1980
Drove a colleagues 06 530D sport today and I must say I was impressed. Very fast and effortless. I was hitting 140kmh without even trying !! Does anyone know how the 335D would compare ?? as my dealers don't have one to test.
gizze
The 535d is a very big step up from the 530d, the 335d is quicker and slightly smoother again. But these things only come alive when remapped.
R32HAZ
I haven't tried the diesel - sure its brilliant but we have a 335 petrol, and its fabulous. Auto, with paddle shifters - amazing changes but smokin's right 20 mpg is about right. Its still early days (1000 miles) so hopefully the mpg will improve.
