RedRobin
Why the heck do 'they' have to screw around with the clock regarding Summer time and Winter time. FFS!! It's nearly dark at 4.30pm!!!! 'They' pass laws at the drop of a hat about ridiculous politically correct stuff but don't deal with more fundamental subjects. Rant, rant, rant! simonb
And there's me thinking you'd released a new song RR! Agree totally though - just makes things a lot more dangerous for everyone!!
patently
It's the environment. That great huge light outside the window uses a huge amount of power - just think of the CO2 emissions. So they have to turn it off early in the winter. If only they could find a safe emission-free nuclear power source for it. But that's about as likely as fusion power... Brabus
Eh - you've all gone mad. It's for the farmers, so they can get up earlier. Blame Danksy
simonb
Alan Partridge would have something to say about that on Radio Norwich!!
RedRobin
[ QUOTE ] And there's me thinking you'd released a new song RR! [/ QUOTE ] ....Coincidentally, I have! It's a song I spontaneously recorded last week with Steve Jones of Mungo Jerry fame who had a huge hit with "In The Summertime". We've just got to tweak the end fade and I should post it up on my Independent Artists site this week.

danksy
For what it's worth it makes sod all difference to most farmers My livestock are governed by daylight, and nightfall thus changing the clocks makes no sodding difference I would be happier if they left it alone to be honest
