pass130
recently picked up a Tdi 130 estate, 2001, 80k, goes ok, with full rev range, but with a slight flat spot mid 2200 revs, mpg 36 (urban) compared to my last 110tdi this feels a bit lethargic and no real go about it; MAF sensor issue? cheers
Rustynuts
Certainly sounds like it. Give it a spin with the maf disconnected and see what it's like. If it's better or about the same then you need a new one. If it's worse, then you still might need a new one to sort out the flat spot.
pass130
unplugged sensor, car completely flat, plugged back in and well its better, but not as lively as I think it should be, worth a new sensor?

Garage have found a vacum hose had split. Just another possibility Thanks chris
