Atomic
Overnight when I unlock the car my interior light doesnt come on. I then start the car without any hassle, open the door and the light comes on... I stop the engine get out and lock the car and unlock, light comes on... I then wait overnight and repeat the whole process... Does it infer my battery is on the way out?
SneakyMcC
What about the rear interior lights. Do they not come on either? Could the door switch be sticking over night and then freeing up with the opening/closing of the door and the vibrations of the engine running? Atomic
I'll dont think it's a door switch problem. The lights dont come on when I unlock the car.
Will22
Try doing the same thing but getting in the passenger door
Atomic
Will do, but I dont normally need to even get as far as opening a door before the interior light comes on. It normally comes on when I unlock the car with the remote.
Atomic
Problem solved... Passenger side map reading light was left on (where the wife ahem... sits!). Looks like the car detects a light on for a period of time it disables them which is a pretty cool thing to do rather than potentially flatten the battery.
