wyliss
Any of you guys have an idea on when the car would need one of its most expensive services i.e. cam belts and other bits etc?. Trying to guage what a car with about 40k on the clock would possibly need. Cheers

Cupramax
Exactly the same as a normal A4. There's no difference in servicing a cab to any other A4. The cambelts are being changed by dealers at 4 years now accoring to some posts on here. The 40k service is usually a big one. If your buying a 40k car dont get it without having this done... wyliss
CB its a 3.0 on 2003 plate with 41k on clock at a dealer
cabboy
In that case, as suggested above, make 110% sure it's had the 40k service done as that's a pricey one. CB

Nelson_R32
[ QUOTE ] Would any of you guys happen to have a copy of exactly what needs to be done at this service? Cheers much appreciated ! [/ QUOTE ] The parts listing is as follows... 20k Service; Oil Filter Sump Plug Pollen Filter 40k Service; Oil Filter Sump Plug Pollen Filter Spark Plugs 60k Service Oil Filter Sump Plug Pollen Filter Air Filter This works on a rotational basis, so your 80K service would be a Cambelt and the basic AVS 1 (20k) type service. Then 100k would be AVS 2 (60k type) etc etc
wyliss
Hi Nelson, Looking at the previous posts they mention about belts needing to be replaced around the 40k mark....if so which additional parts are required to the list you have already mentioned? Cheers
