shark_90
Thinking about getting a W950i. Does anyone know if it'll be compatible with the bluetooth? Had the usual problems with the K800i with it dropping when it feels like it, but I'm concerned the W950i might not work at all..
Daz
Didn't think the Symbian phones did the phone book transfer etc. Once I cleared out the "other" and email addresses from my phone it's never dropped again.
shark_90
Nokia N series Symbian phones don't, but I believe the K800i runs a version of Symbian, so I don't think it applies to all phones. I currently have 5 (yes 5) numbers in my phone, all put in manually, all in the "mobile" category and it's still dropped
shark_90
It seems the K800i is a "UIQ Smartphone" and the W950i is Symbian 9.1 and UIQ3. So there's a possiblility that it might work at least.
craigyb
I doubt it very much that any Symbian phone works.

fardene
I have a Sony P990i which runs Symbian 9.1 OS- it syncs with the Bluetooth pack & RNS_E in my RS4 (B7) including uploading the phone book, last dialed, received and made calls. Very impressed with it! - the only problem I have is that the bluetooth connection sometime drops when I'm on a long call (5mins Plus)

shark_90
Craig Just tried it with the P990i I decided to get, works perfectly OK We'll have to see about this drop out issue though, I'm nearly always on the phone for more than 5 mins at a time. Are you coming to Windsor? We can hook mine up to your car if you don't get chance to go to CW first.
