gypsyboy
hello with regards to your economy ive got a 130bhp tdi estate and most of my miles are very short stop start and my mpg is poo 25 to 35mpg but as soon as i get a run the computer says 45mpg approx at speeds of 70 to 90. the best mpg i acheived on the computer was in wales snowdonia 50approx. with power i would have to say you have a problem because my passat is very smooth and powerfull and is more lively than a 110bhp. really chuffed overall with my passat
Wobby
Agree with gypsyboy, mine is much much faster than my 110bhp. MPG's seem to have fallen although i can still get well above 50 on a nice run. Its at 200k now, but theres no way a 110bhp Passat could keep up! ChrisBradburn
This sounds like the sticking turbo vanes again... I've seen links around here from people who've cleaned up their turbos but I don't know how to make links myself. Have a punt around some old lost power posts. pass130
Sorted, got another MAM, eased the VNT mechanism and its running as it should be, only one fault code on VAG-COM, MAM so that should be that until next time
