Hi just found that our ten month old car has the leather wearing of the drivers side bolster. Havent got pics yet but its like the black is pealing away from the leather underneath. If I rubbed my thumb over it it looks like it will peal even more.

Will be contacting the dealer in the next couple of days. Has anyone else had this problem? My Volvo with 90k miles on it has no damage at all like that on its leather seats and the audi only has 6k on it.

My, soon to be returned company 2006 S-Line Sportback is showing visible wear on the front seat outer backrest bolsters too - the car was brand new 4th November 2005 and has done 31,000 miles. The leather is quite hard - not soft like the Nappa leather my latest ride uses.

I haven't complained as I'll only have it for another month though haven't Audi adopted some snotty policy over only covering interior trim with 3 months warranty (seemed barely legal to me)?.

Sorry didn't reply sooner but phoned the dealer yesterday and they didn't sound too interested. After taking it to them they said thay hadn't seen that sort of wear to many times(it was about the size of 10p) and that they would get a new cover(top half of the seat) on order and phone me to book the car in. He did warn me though that it may look slightly darker as it wont have had the sunlight on it and it may take a while to lighten up.
