turbo_a6
i know the S8 original mirror is aluminum but I thought they were laquered? Mine are sand blasted so I might have to strip the laquer off and polish the aluminium...thats the trouble with sand storms..front bumpber, grille & mirrors get pitted what a
rob77
I have found a company in germany h.e.i.z tachodesign 59 euros plus shipping he is getting back to me today with exact price.the dash rings in svens motor are no longer available.if your mirrors are already sandblasted richie perhaps we should do a swap lol.do any other audi s model mirrors fit our car, i always think the S6 mirrors look the same?. the link for those rings is frank hylewicz. www.cnc-step.com
spencerbruntlett
Beware using other mirror bodies, mine had this done before I bought it, looked fine but then tried to fold mirrors in and they wouldnt go all the way due to different bump stops. Fixed with a bit of hacking but took ages to work out what was going wrong.

A8_Tony
Hi guys, I've got the in-pro covers on my A8 (facelift) and have to say that they're pretty good, I've certainly never had any problems with them The caps from the S3, S4, S6, B5 RS4 and RS6 should all fit, as they use the same housing (IIRC) so if you can find one of these at a scrappy, then you could be laughing. Also this'll help you if you're looking on fleabay As for dash rings. I'm not sure, but I believe the dials and subsequent holes in the dash are the same throughout the Audi range. I can't confirm it, but can't see why not. Therefore it might be worth picking up a set from fleabay, see here and giving them a shot?
rob77
thanks tony i will keep a lookout. rob77
hear what you are saying Richie,in the summer the road claims one or two riders every weekend.there comes a point when you say that you have had a good run and hang yer boots up.gonna stick to four wheels from now on,but the yearning for a bike never goes away it was easier to pack the fags in. rob77
admitting you had a problem is half the battle Richie.there are still a few scooter boys meeting up in the bluebell pub on the A689.I think we can all admit to owning a pair of two-tone stay press trousers and a fish tail parker.the helena has dropped the princess and is now a karoke come coffee bar,sad so sad.
