Good write-up. Better effort than any UK magazine so far and he's obviously tried to stay impartial.

Interesting that he chose the S3 over the new Cupra as I would say this will take a good few potential S3 sales in the real world due to the big price difference.

I agree Rob, i can either take my B7 to a brand new 3.0 TDI or keep the 2.0 tdi and replace our 2nd car with a cupra or S3, all depends if we move or not, but the more i read the people who have actually driven the new S3 seem to be amazed by the performance, bare in mind alot already run chipped S3's or TT's and LCR's etc and they aint exactly slow, i need to see one in the flesh now as i am curious and maybe blag a test drive
