Petem95
Ok I dont know if anyone can help with any of these problems with my 2002 2.0 petrol A4 with 79k miles! Problems as follows; 1) Car is now steaming up a lot, and I have noticed things in the glove-box are damp?! Have to always drive with the CC on to demist the car! Possible air-con fault, or blocked drainage pipes?? 2) Car judders when pulling off - clutch doesnt slip, it just judders - Im not sure if this could maybe be due to worn front suspension bushes? Anyone heard of similar? This is especially annoying, and can be embarrassing! 3) VAG-COM tells me the car is running "too lean"? What could cause this? Any help on any of these things would be appreciated! Its a lovely car when its working properly, but recently these things have started to make driving it a pain! Cheers! timps
Just some ideas. 1) The Pollen filter sits above the glove box check to see if the housing is seated correctly. 2) Mine had clutch judder & the clutch was replaced under warranty. This was caused by problems with the dual mass flywheel & high spots on the clutch (uneven wear) so it judders rather than slips (according to the master tech who replaced mine under warranty ). 3) The temperature sender on 2002 Audi’s are prone to problems (I had to replace mine with an updated version) it should show up in VAG com as a fault but does not always do so, this could have an effect on mixture. DanG
1) leaking heating matrix causing steam issues 2) judder could be due to fueling issue 3) maf sensor or lambda sensor failure, or failing fuel pump

Steaming up prob, i get very occasionally but CC clears it. I am running it on econ at the moment with no probs at all.
pomps
Mine used to judder as well, turned out to be an air leak - cheap to fix.
