[Audi A3/S3] '99 A3 Anti-roll bar bushes

I'm attempting to fit the above on the weekend, a few questions if someone is able to help?

I'm not sure on the size of my roll bar (a '99 T sport) 21 or 23mm?

Hard to fit?, has anybody here done them before?

Worth getting Powerflex or standard?

Hi, not too sure of your exact size but they are fairly straight forward to do.

Give the bolts (13mm) a good dousing of a freeing agent or WD40. There are 2 bolts top and bottom per bracket. The top ones are easy to get to but the bottom ones a re more of a pain to do. I know on the S3 the brackets are also fitted to the exhaust sheild which need to be undone to remove the bracket.

Once you have removed the bracket pull out the old bush and clean the arb. Check that its not rusted where the bush was or you will have to replace it if it is.

Lubricate the new bush thoroughly witht he correct grease and refit as above.

A little tio is to smear the inside of the bracket with some grease too to help it slide onto the new bush otherwise it will be tight and fiddly.

Suggest you go for Superpro bushes as they are not too hard. Available from here... www.priracing .co.uk

Thanks for that. I'll prob go for the superpros as I've heard the powerflex ones can be harsh.
