Merlot
14.something, probably the upper half. Not a hope in hell of doing 13s. 3.2 manual TT2 was 15.1s in Autocar if I remember correctly.

First thing anyone should do with their new S3 is get it remapped. I reckon a 300bhp+ S3 would get close to 13's.

AZ [/ QUOTE ] I wouldn't be too disapointed AZ, I would have been surpised to see a figure that quick to 100 even if they'd have got it to 60 in 5.7s. That is a truly rapid time considering a 0-60 of 6.5 in this case. I feel confident we'll see a sub 6 second run in a UK mag soon. It looks like a bit of a slow launch considering it was lagging the RWD BMW at 25mph.

tonymac
Auto Motor & Sport tested the S3 against BMWs 130i and Mazdas 3 MPS last week. S3 pulled 0-100 kmph in 5.7 secs & 0-160 kmph in 13.7 secs.
S3Rob
Thanks for the info. 13.7 is truly rapid for a hatch. That must be close to the performance of the S4? Good to see proper figures extracted at last.
