RedRobin
Nice 'Find', petsy . It looks as if you use an Allen key for fixing and that consequently they may be firmly attached and not so "Heath Robinson" imo. I'd be more concerned about how they improve paddle operation. The OEM paddles are okay but do feel a bit small and plasticky. US $359.99 a pair by any chance? Do you have a link to the web site?

"the screw of spare has been settled politely on top of the box" To use one of Lottie's well-known phrases: I Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaant !!!! Tarmac_Terrorist
Guys, I like the look of those. I think they help the continuation of the brushed chrome look around the cabin (door strips, passenger side dash strip, MY07 stereo buttons etc). If I had a dsg model then I would be wanting these. Trouble is, you kind of need to see these things and be able to feel them fitted to know they are nice to use.

Keep up! ...."for a couple of bits of metal" is one way of looking at it but you could apply that to anything and never buy and never have the joy of using it. SamD
I am obviously getting slow tonight - it's been a long week. To be honest I would probably buy them, still pricey though

Oli
I just wish that the paddles were fixed to the column and not the steering wheel, to make mid corner-changing easier, like on other paddle-shift cars. I have found myself using the lever, for shifting, a lot more lately
mikemod
Nice.... I'll have one of these

Snoopy
You know im sure theres plnty of firms in the UK could make things like these if they had enough orders. Afterall its simple flowjet work.
RedRobin
But what constitutes 'enough orders'? How many hundreds? And then there's all the finishing and fixing preparation. However, if you can suggest anyone.....
RedRobin
[ QUOTE ] Nice.... I'll have one of these [/ QUOTE ] ....I noticed that too . Lots of peeps have said they were disappointed about the OEM plastic footrest. R32 'boys' would like it too.
RedRobin
I've just spoken to AwesomeGTI and they are interested in looking into stocking them (DSG paddles) and possibly footrests too. They'll keep me informed, so....Watch this space! I'll let the Mk32 R32 'boys' know when things are more certainly available. Though meanwhile I'm sure rs32 will read this .
