Front disc help....

anyone got an 80 cabriolet here

First chance I've had to get the wheels off the cab I got in September...and I'm confused

Should a 2.6e auto have solid front discs...the user guide says ALL auto's have ventilated disc up front, every 80 of every kind I have seen has ventilated up front, my parts cd has them as ventilated, as does my repair manual...just had a quick chat with local dealer and they say...yep ventilated....but mine are solid

They are Audi OEM on 8A0 615 301 - which I think should ve on an 80/90/Avant, add an E and they list right.

I'm going to run it down to them to take a look, but they suggested it would be hard to get them wrong, as the calipers would also be wrong etc.... Have I got some new hybrid, or just one that's been replaced very wrongly...

Your help would be appreciated....
