FunkyD
Hi all, Got standard headlights on my 2006 3-series. Want to change them for something brighter (and legal) as I do a lot of night driving. Would appreciate any advice... Thanks...
gizze
You can retrofit the BMW units, wil cost around £2000 from BMW, less if you get the parts off ebay, but not many as it is so new. I would look at adding some HIDs. http://www.hids4u.co.uk/ Welcome to the forum too.
FunkyD
Wow, that was a quick response. Thanks for the info, need to be careful with what I do, it's a company car...
gizze
Go with the HIDs then, you need to make sure they are ones that fit into stock locations without having to drill holes etc. so you can go back to stock.

[/ QUOTE ] Welcome I agree, the standard BMW lights (non xenon) are not great on dipped beam. My 5 is fine as it has xenons, but the One is pretty poor and I'd be interested in what can be done to improve it. I drove a 1990 E30 3 series last week with better dipped beam lights than the 1'er Peter
