patently
Thanks guys .... kind words! Alastair - Night vision should be £1385 but I didn't pay that for it The time will pass quickly enough. I'm already apologising to the 330Ci for being unfaithful to her. I found myself stroking the steering wheel last night and telling her that it would be ok, they'd find someone else who loved her almost as much as I do... dukeboy749r
Err, you 'll need help soon with an affliction like that... One thing I would change though, is the Tracker system, they are a fecking disgrace in terms of Customer Service, happy to take your money, can never get anything from them... patently
A small IR camera in the front bumper sends an image to the Control Display. BMW say it will pick up people and animals that are beyond the reach of the headlights. So, in theory, I should get a bit more warning in that a white blob wil appear in the display. I also reckon it should be better with people wearing black coats on a dark night (carrying a black cat through their coal cellar...) in the middle of the road. Having once hit a deer and done £4.5k of damage to the car, I like the idea of this system. dukeboy - yes, I admit it!
