livall
Hi! The manual for my A3 says head lights should not be cleaned with a wash mit. It reccomends to simply spray the head lights down with some water and leave it at that. Do any of you know what the reason for this is and if its worth sticking to what the manual says? steelwind101
Hi I would wash them with a mitt, are they plastic?? They probably dont want you to scratch them. Personally i use both Meguiars PLASTX and the Wolfgang lens cleaning kit that comes with an attachment for your drill. They will get damaged and clouded over time so its will worth the investment. Plus the difference it makes, your light covers will look so much cleaner, and reflective just like the rest of a well detailed car. Protection is also provided with PLASTX, even by hand the results are good. It uses chemical cleaners and minute micro-diminshing abravsives. My advice just wash normal.
