seanie4
Why is that however much care and attention you give to your car someone else has to spoil it? I noticed yesterday that some inconsiderate person has managed to dent my driver's side door, scratching paint off the colour coded door strip and managed to scratch the door too. I was absolutely gutted to say the least, and as always there was no note on the car with details of the culprit. I've read of others misfortunes online with car parks and I always park miles away from other cars but to no avail. Especially at this time of year be careful where you park, 2nd time that this has happened now. Anyone know of any good dent removers in sutton coldfield? RedRobin
You might get more info on dent removers by posting this in General Cars. Very sorry to hear of this happening - It's a real bummer!
silentandy
Sean I had a dent removed from my door by a guy that come over from Sedgely. He only does dent removal though and not paint work, but I also can recommend someone that did a good job of getting rid of a huge stone chip from my front bumper. PM me a reminder to pass on their details tomorrow, I have their cards still on my desk in the office.

fresco1
Car parks are a mine-field. Was sitting in the wife's Land Rover today in Sainsburys (pre-Christmas shop, I decided to listen to the radio), saw a nice BMW 3 series (coupe, I think - looks like a 6) have a trolley rolled right into the rear drivers side panel from some daft woman who just gave the trolley a kick away from her car. Painful to watch - felt sorry for the bloke (so sorry I took a photo of her car reg for him) Dunno what he's going to do with it, his choice, but I felt his pain! RedRobin
....Good for you, fresco! I think I'd have found it very difficult not to get out of my car and also tell that woman what I thought about her behaviour!
fresco1
[ QUOTE ] ....Good for you, fresco! I think I'd have found it very difficult not to get out of my car and also tell that woman what I thought about her behaviour! [/ QUOTE ] I would have, except the 10 month old had just fallen asleep and I was a bit unsure if he'd wake up if I opened the door and crossed the car park! Once Mrs. Fresco came back and did the door slamming, I could then chat to BMW man. He had one of the new 3 series coupes - v. nice indeed! PS - Should say that the damage was very minor - bloke reckoned the top part of the trolley must have met with the lights first (no damage), then it was mostly a score / scuff on the upper surface of the bumper where the lower part of the basket must have come into contact. He was lucky.
Chungster
That's why I tend to park well away from the main entrances. Some times I even use up 2 spaces altho once this numpty in a fiesta decided to moan about it even though there were loads of spaces left! SMB
I watched a driver drive nose first into a tight space and clip a volvo estate, taking the trim off, he then proceeded to back out and drive round the car park looking for another space. I was feeling brave ( or stupid) and walked through the cars and hailed him down, told him your choice is you come into the shop with me and tannoy the owner of the volvo or I report it, u chose.... He decided to come in... that said the volvo was a heap , but it was the principle.
