Golfer
Here we go again, A11 users beware, In the wymondham/Besthorpe area in particular, the slip roads onto the A11 here are being used by the local "Traffic (real work dodgers) cops" to use hand held laser guns to trap you for speeding, you can't see them until there up your arse with blues on. I have driven up behind where they are and they are NOT directly behind the line of traffic!! as they are supposed to be so be warned. Sad I saw a woman driver being pulled over in an Audi avant (dark blue) hope it was not anyone on here.
RedRobin
That's how I got zapped....From behind from a slip road. I watch my SatNav mapping more frequently now so I can be more aware of the slip roads and their type .

Ian_C
Must admit I glanced over my shoulder back at several entry slip roads as I zoomed up the M1 Friday morning. Ian

skifly
spill the beans avant... unless of course it was to use less of the fun pedal!
RedRobin
...I think avant means never go more than 70. It's a good idea to watch your SatNav map to see where and what shape/length of slip roads are coming up and slow down for them anyway. I always make sure I'm not in the far left lane for passing them anyway.
miniandy
Simple solution - slow down for the slip roads! I'm not getting all Hitler on you all but that's the technique I use and I do make progress when conditions allow. Officer.
