TDiAvant
Does anyone know of a trusted supplier for the Dension Gateway 500?
craigyb
I buy mine from Maxcount.de or maxxcount.de, takes paypal and are around 420 euros (£282) for one off purchases, I buy 10 at a time so get them cheaper. I've seen them for £279 in the UK.

craigyb
It doesn't fix the Ipod issue with the interlaced display on MMI 3460. Also it seems to have introduced a new fault on the USB interface. Now that plays jerky, anyone else care to test it with a USB memory stick? If you read the release notes, they are aware of the newest MMI issues. "- Some limitations were reported when GW 500 was installed in Audi cars equipped with the newest MMI FW. (It is under investigation)"
TDiAvant
I will test it tonight.
TDiAvant
Updated the dension 500 with 1.04 firmware, and tested it with MMI version 2120 and 3460 and did not have any probelsm with the iPod or USB playback.
craigyb
Maybe it's down to the USB memory stick.
TDiAvant
I only had one album on the 2GB memory stick, and I did test all tracks without any problems.
craigyb
I have 6Gb stick which is nearly full.
TDiAvant
Have you tried a smaller stick? I just wonder if the jerking is caused by having to read a 6GB memory stick which is full of MP3's
craigyb
I had no issues before with the same stick and same music. Basically nothing has changed except for the firmware. I have 256mb stick I can try tomorrow.
