Woppum
I do, but often wont as I have usually had drinks by that time. Also the idea of hitting a badger at speed is always a bit of a turnoff!

Ian_C
Yes, I do get the urge, but I resist, especially in this kind of weather. Went to the theatre tonight and it was very foggy and quite slippy out there. Not conditions for having fun. Someone else was doing the driving tonight in a much more comfortable car. Simon, are you running the CSL through winter as your sole car? No 'other' sensible car for the Tesco run etc. Ian

Ian_C
Just think how many tidy, unmodified, last-of-the-line Peugeot 205 GTi 1.9s you could purchase outright for the same price as the 'damage correction' to a minor hedge moment. sitas3
Ian, the car is a daily car (work/fun) - no point in losing £600/month in depreciation if you don't drive the thing IMO. With it having low-ish miles the plan is to run it for up to a year then either get a 335d etc or assess B7 RS4 possibilities etc My Mrs has the 'Tesco' ding mobile. Ian_C
Are they still depreciating that fast? Thought they had lost the majority already buy now. Depends what you paid for it I guess. Hopefully not too much, but you obviously won't have paid top-money for a mint low miler if you are going to cover high miles. Good to hear you have something else for shopping, town trips and the winter Sunday morning paper runs. Ian

Ian [/ QUOTE ] Considering the choice was either; pay to get the CSL road worthy and use that every day of the week. Or buy 7 old Pugs, one to use each day; then yes Ian. I am quite sure I made the right choice! As ive said before. I am not happy I had the bump. I think over £7k is alot to spend on a 5mph crash. But, and its a big but, I think the CSL is worth every penny I have spent on it, and really a fair bit more. There is no other car id be happier in than possibly a 997 GT3/RS. So its still good value in my eyes.
