Cretinous use of M25 matrix signs

Most mornings I drive between J11 and J10 of the M25 and even at 7am they limit you to 60mph - pretty sure its on timer as the traffic doesn't always justify it.

What did thet flash up today in possibly the worst driving conditions for ages. FOG! FFS I knew that! We all did!

So effectively there were no speed restrictions and consequently no cameras operating.

Now normally I'd argue for that but it just seems crazy in such bad fog.

I'm sure it also encouraged everyone to leave their rear fogs on despite visibility being good enough to see 3 or 4 cars in front. Had 2 red dots burnt into my retinas for ages. No need if you can see the cars in front well enough.

Its incorrect usage like this which causes people to ignore them in the first place

I know what you mean, some people just do not use common sense at all. Then when you flash them they look at you thinking "what are you doing"...

Also find it annoying when the dim-wit in his Merc this morning at junc 11 decides to slow to an absolutle crawl in the fast lane...while i dont condone speeing but for god sake...KEEP LEFT UNLESS OVERTAKING.

You know it's foggy when you can't see the flashing signs!

And yes - people slow down to read them!!!!
