sufu
Azureus for me, very capable and easy to use, but I've not really tried anything else to be honest...

Irnbrukid
Utorrent 1.6 is da best. Resource-Friendly µTorrent was written with efficiency in mind. Unlike many torrent clients, it does not hog valuable system resources -typically using less than 6MB of memory, allowing you to use the computer as if it weren't there at all. Additionally, the program itself is contained within a single executable less than 170 KB in size. Azureus is pretty resourse hungry. some trackers wont let you use bitcomet its for leechers. dogbucket
I use Azureus, but utorrent is good as mentioned already. Both can do transport encryption which is useful if your ISP throttles P2P traffic.

ahaydock
Thanks for all the replies guys. Basically I am after something that doesn't keep dropping out like the standard one does?
Waylander
just to resurrect this thread: I use the original bittorrent software. How is utorrent superior to this?
MOSE
Not actually used bittorrent, but was using Azureus up until a few weeks ago and had all sorts of problems with it taking ages to download simple things. Recently changed over to uTorrent and am enjoying regular concert recordings (usually 4GB files), downloaded without any hassles at all.
