Mattchaps
Hi guys, Just been and bought the Meguiars nxt polish for my .:R exhaust, and although its made quite a difference, i can't seem to get ride of the carbon deposits around the tips? What abrasives, if any, are safe to use to really get this off. Thanks Matt

Hudson
If it is that bad then you will need 00 Grade wire wool.... don't panic, it's not like the kitchen stuff you scrub the frying pan with.... i got some via Clean and shiny (google search), it is meant for automotive use and specifically for what you mention. Calm Chris
Use oven cleaner, soak for 1 hour (soak a cloth with oven cleaner and wrap round pipes). Oven cleaner must be kept away from paint and plastics, so you might have to wrap cling film over the soak cloth to avoid drips
