Botang
If you zoom in you can see that there is a gap above the headlights and the angle of the bonnet doesnt align with the angle of the headlights
rob77
you can see the gap better on the dealers website, not a bad effort though!if the facelift headlights fit in there it would bring it all in nicely.the problem is when you do the maths changing everything its easier to buy a facelift car now the prices are dropping below 10k mark
Botang
On one of the other pictures you can see that the trim under the haedlight doesnt aling with the bumper either It looks like a nice car though
rob77
it does overhang ever so slightly!have you not squeezed facelift bumpers on your to-do list after supercharging it i mean

Botang
[ QUOTE ] it does overhang ever so slightly!have you not squeezed facelift bumpers on your to-do list after supercharging it i mean [/ QUOTE ] But its facelift bumpers + bonnett, and unless I'm going to fit a huge bug catcher through the bonnett I dont think its worth the expense

Ska
I've been considering the facelift bumper for myself and was aware of all the small mis fits etc. but wasn't sure if I could carry it off on a silver car. I forget the guys name but it didn't look bad on that dark blue s8 from a few posts ago. But this silver one doesn't look bad at all; I've always thought my car needed a deeper bumper at the front and I've got a few stone chips on the bonnet so may as well get a bonnet while I'm at it. Notice the gap between the bumper and the nose of the bonnet; it isn't as bad as I thought it would be Cool find BTW
rob77
I dont understand why he didnt do the rear bumper or are there complications there aswell? boys and their toys
Ska
Front end accidental repair Looks like the front wings have been painted as well or at least blended in; its got that yellow ting of traffic film and pollution on the rest of the car like I did when I bought it. Hang on that car has colour coded lowers; is that the same car if so I didn't see that pic on autotrader or the dealer website Ahh Feck is that yours Rob looking slightly dirty? I'm gonna have lie down Hang on again just saw the Autoglym tag hanging off the rear view mirror... so God knows why he left off the rear bumper though its a striaght fit IIRC
