18ME
I have the original Sky+ (believe its 80GB) and the later Sky+ 160GB. The reason they are not used is because I moved house last April and had a new one put in on a new contract in the new house. The 160 is virtually unused as I had this free for introducing a friend just before I left. Both come in their original boxes and include manuals and remotes etc. I was going to put these on Ebay once I've taken pics of them but thought I'd see if anyone's interest on TSN first. Presumably I keep my old viewing card?

18ME
[ QUOTE ] £10 [/ QUOTE ] Is that all they are worth? I'll have a look on Ebay now and let you know
18ME
Theres not many 160's on Ebay but there is one which is a buy-it-now at £139.95 and the others are normal auction formats with a lot of time left to go before they finish so its hard to say what they will sell for. The remotes are more than £10 so I'm pretty sure that I'd get a lot more than that on Ebay for a more or less brand new boxed receiver with an unused remote and accessories etc. Oh well I tried...I'll stick it Ebay later as its 1/2 price listing day today. dogbucket
I bought a Pace box with a 250gb drive for £80 off ebay, but I got lucky as most were going for about £

_Tone_
Whats the score if these go wrong? Do I need to ring up Sky to pair the box with my viewing card - already have sky+ but the larger hard disk would certainly be useful! Just wondering if I get a problem - do I get any form of support for it? Thanks
Chrisg
If you want a bigger hard drive why not just change it over for a bigger one?
chandbridge
i think the orignal is 80gb but your only allowed to use 40 for recording as i think the other half is reserved for the tv cache what records progams that you watch so you can rewind them, well my box says 80gb above is just my theory
chandbridge
do you know how much the callout to install the box is
