jase1
Can anyone help? My r32 used to when cold from been left a bit start and idle slightly higher say around 1100rpm then settle to normal idle after 30 secs or so, but lately has totally stopped no matter what the weather. It will start without touching throttle but as starts revs dip to almost stalling and then rise to idle. Car seems to be driving fine but have heard from other threads that could be coolant temp sensor or MAF. Can anyone give me a definitive answer, ive had MAFS go on TDI's and you can really feel it but i think car is running fine althouhg i suppose you can get used to something and not notice when down on performamnce. Oli
Idle air control valve or an air leak in the system? Can you get it VAGCOM'd?
AndyE
Sometimes mine does, sometimes it doesn't. Parked on the drive overnight, it wont. But after sitting in the works car park all day, it will, sometimes?
timk
[ QUOTE ] Sometimes mine does, sometimes it doesn't. Parked on the drive overnight, it wont. [/ QUOTE ] Mine does exactly the same, does it and the end of the working day sometimes, and more rarely on the driveway in the mornings... Decked
Mine sometimes does this as well, I always thought it had something to do with my cams.... Obviously not! Possibly the external temp sensor? As mine is faulty and haven't bothered changing it! (also noticed, you have stage 2 Revo, so do I!
