Hello ! my first post.

Had the car for 13 months and only just found this site !

Whilst this motor is good enough to give you the horn... the horn on my motor sounds pathetic, single high pitched tone, its like something you would get on a 1977 Ford Fiesta ! I asked the stealer to check it and they said its normal. Anyone agree ?if so is there a simple modification ?

Hi and welcome to TSN beerchug.gif

I find the horn is ok, compared to my mates Civic Type R, the R32 is far better. I had an M3 before the R32 and that sounded pretty pathetic also but I think it was because one of the dual horns was inoperative. Never use the thing anyway so not found it a problem.

Hahahah! good entrance! yelrotflmao.gif

Funnily enough I thought exactly the same thing when I had my R.

Sounds pathetic when you think what a monster the car is!

Id leave the horn, no one will think you are any less of a man.

Id save the rest for the supercharger! 169144-ok.gif

As youve already got the Milltek, you should get the BMC filter, makes quite a difference, and works well with the exhaust beerchug.gif

Having been shamed this week by a very smart black X reg MkIV GTI with an APR badge on the back, I have decided it is time to do something to make this heavy beast a bit more nimble. Currently in communication with Ed at APS (thanks to your guys and the many posts on here) to get a remap and BMC filter.
